Below is a breakdown of the costs involved in taking the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT):
1. Course Fees
We offer our complete study pack for the three written Heads (Property, Professional Conduct and Accounts - and Litigation). The complete study pack includes distance learning courses, video lectures on CD-ROM and access to the QLTT on-line programme on our website. Study manual and video lectures on CD-ROM are offered for the oral exam on Principles of Common Law. The costs of the complete study pack for each Head are as follows: Property - £ 250.00
Professional Conduct and Accounts - £ 250.00 Litigation - £ 250.0 Principles of Common Law - £ 50.00 Delivery Charges: Postage within Europe - £ 40.00 Postage to other destinations (according to number of Heads): 1 Head - £ 40.00 2 Heads - £ 65.00 3 Heads - £ 75.00 4 Heads - £ 90.00 All packages are sent via special door-to-door courier to ensure safe and swift delivery.
2. Certificate of Eligibility Transfer fee of £400.00 (payable to the Law Society) 3. Test Fees For candidates who wish to sit the QLTT in London: General registration fee for sitting - £245.00 + VAT (good for three consecutive sittings. Thereafter a further registration fee is payable). A separate Test fee is payable for each Test the candidate sits: Property - £90.00 + VAT Professional Conduct and Accounts - £90.00 + VAT Litigation - £90.00 + VAT Principles of Common Law - £210.00 + VAT Test fees should be paid once you have obtained your Certificate of Eligibility, and when you are prepared to sit the exams. It is not possible to process any test bookings without getting first a copy of a Certificate of Eligibility. Three sittings of the QLTT are offered three time s a year, during March, June and November. For candidates who to sit the test in Australia, Hong Kong and India - on Professional Conduct and Accounts exam only: General registration fee for sitting - £295.00 Professional Conduct and Accounts exam fee - £105.00 4. Preparation Days in London (optional) - offered in London Property - £220.00 + VAT Professional Conduct and Accounts - £520.00 + VAT (three days) Litigation - £220.00 + VAT The preparation days are offered in Central London a few weeks before the exams.
